Consumer Terms

01. Your agreement with Syntic

These Consumer Terms govern personal use of Syntic websites, applications and individual subscriptions. By creating an account or using an eligible service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Syntic through an organization, enterprise workspace or API agreement, the applicable Business Terms or other commercial agreement may govern instead. Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information.

02. What Syntic provides

Syntic is a unified AI platform built around its own AI model family. Amara is a Syntic-developed model, with additional Syntic models including Syntic Code and Syntic Deep. Depending on availability and your plan, you may use conversational AI, research, coding, creative generation, agents, voice features and connected experiences. We may introduce, update, retire or limit features, subject to applicable law and any express subscription commitments.

AI can be useful and still make mistakes. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for a particular purpose. Review important results independently before acting on them.

03. Accounts, eligibility and security

You must be at least 18 years old, or older if applicable law requires a higher age for the relevant service. Provide accurate registration details and protect your login credentials, devices and connected accounts. Tell us promptly at support@syntic.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

Do not share account credentials or bypass plan limits. If you register with an organizational email address, that alone does not automatically transfer personal conversations to an employer. Any transition to an organization-managed workspace must be communicated and handled under the applicable account and privacy arrangements.

04. Your content and generated results

You keep the rights you hold in text, code, images, audio, files and other content you submit to Syntic ("Your Content"). You authorize Syntic to process that content to deliver your requested experience, operate and secure the service, and use it for model improvement as described below and in our Privacy Policy.

As between you and Syntic, and to the extent permitted by law, you receive Syntic's rights, if any, in outputs created in response to your requests. Outputs may not be unique; others may receive similar results. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to submit content and for deciding how to use generated results. Syntic retains its rights in Amara, the platform, software, models, trademarks and underlying technology.

05. Model improvement and privacy controls

Personal accounts: Syntic's model-improvement setting is enabled by default. While enabled, eligible interactions may help train, evaluate and improve Syntic models, including Amara. You can disable model improvement in your account Settings. After you disable it, new eligible interactions will not be included in routine general model-training datasets under this program. You can keep your conversation history without participating in general model training.

Disabling the setting does not retroactively undo completed training or delete existing conversations. Feedback you deliberately submit and limited information reviewed for abuse, security or legal purposes may be handled separately, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Additional safeguards and separate authorization requirements may apply to consumer health data. Business, Enterprise and API customer inputs and outputs are excluded from general model training by default under their applicable terms.

06. Agents, code and connected services

Syntic experiences may read authorized project files, suggest or execute commands, interact with connected applications, or take actions at your direction. Before granting access, check what an agent can read, change, send or delete. Review code changes, financial transactions, external messages and other consequential actions carefully. You remain responsible for permissions you grant and instructions you provide.

Third-party applications and external destinations that you choose to connect may have separate terms and privacy practices. Connecting a service does not mean Syntic owns or controls it. We are responsible for our own obligations and do not exclude protections that applicable law requires.

07. Fair and lawful use

Use Syntic lawfully and respect other people. Do not use the service to invade privacy, commit fraud, impersonate others deceptively, distribute malware, obtain unauthorized access, interfere with infrastructure, exploit minors or facilitate unlawful violence. Do not attempt to steal credentials, model weights or protected source code, or circumvent technical safeguards. You may build your own AI applications or competing products using your own resources; these Terms do not prohibit lawful competition. Separate API licensing, intellectual-property and access restrictions still apply.

Do not treat AI output as a substitute for qualified medical, legal or financial advice. Additional product policies may govern specific uses.

08. Plans, renewals and cancellations

Syntic may offer free access and paid personal plans. The features, usage allowances, price, currency and billing interval for your subscription are presented at checkout or in your account. Paid subscriptions may renew automatically at the stated interval until canceled. You authorize recurring charges disclosed at checkout and any applicable taxes.

You may cancel through the account billing controls or contact support@syntic.ai. Unless checkout terms or mandatory law provide otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and paid access continues through the current paid period. Refunds and statutory cooling-off or withdrawal rights depend on applicable law and purchase channel. We will communicate material price increases in advance as required by law and provide an opportunity to cancel before the new price applies. Additional usage charges require the disclosures and authorization presented for the relevant feature.

09. Availability, updates and support

We work to keep Syntic reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features and capacity may vary by location, plan, model availability and technical conditions. Software updates may be needed to maintain security or compatibility. Open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Contact support@syntic.ai for account or service support.

10. Safety, moderation and account actions

We may investigate suspected misuse and apply proportionate restrictions, including temporary suspension or termination, where necessary to address serious security risks, unlawful activity or material breaches. We will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address an issue when practicable and legally permitted. You may stop using Syntic and request account closure, subject to any outstanding payments and lawful retention requirements.

We evaluate governmental demands for information under applicable law and valid legal process. In exceptional situations involving an imminent threat of death or serious physical injury, limited disclosure may be considered where legally permitted, with human review when feasible. Automated flags alone do not automatically result in a law-enforcement report.

11. Responsibility and legal protections

Syntic provides its services with reasonable care, subject to the limitations of AI technology and any rights you have under mandatory consumer law. We do not guarantee that every output is accurate, unique or suitable for your needs. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and Syntic's total contractual liability for a claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the affected service in the preceding twelve months or US $100. This does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where it cannot be excluded, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes, disputes and contact

We may revise these Terms as services and laws change. We will provide advance notice of material changes where required, and your continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where lawful. If you disagree, you may stop using the service and cancel your subscription. We encourage you to contact legal@syntic.ai to seek an informal resolution before initiating proceedings.

These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive consumer rights to bring claims before courts or authorities where applicable law permits. Mandatory consumer protections in your country or region remain unaffected. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. Supplemental terms for particular services apply only to those services and should be presented before use.
