--- name: stockbee-momentum-burst-screener description: Use when the user wants Stockbee/Pradeep-Bonde-style Momentum Burst setups: 4% breakouts, dollar breakouts, range expansion, or short-term 3-5 day swing momentum candidates. category: Screening version: 1.0.0 tools: [] --- # Stockbee Momentum Burst Screener Screen US equities for Stockbee-style (Pradeep Bonde) short-term Momentum Burst candidates. This is a candidate-generation and setup-quality workflow, not a signal service or auto-execution system. ## When to Use Use when the user asks for Stockbee or Pradeep Bonde style Momentum Burst screening, 4% breakout / dollar breakout / range-expansion candidates, short-term 3-5 day swing momentum setups, whether a daily breakout has A/B/C setup quality, or supplies a symbol list or OHLCV data to screen. Run this only when the broader market-regime read allows taking on new swing risk; otherwise mark any output as manual-review-only. ## Trigger Families Detected - **4% Breakout**: `close / previous_close ≥ 1.04`, with volume above the prior day and above a liquidity floor. - **Dollar Breakout**: `close − open ≥ $0.90`, with volume above the liquidity floor. - **Range Expansion**: today's daily range exceeds each of the prior three daily ranges, and the prior day was not already an extended range. ## Scoring Score each candidate across: trigger strength, volume expansion, prior base/range-contraction quality, close location near the high of day, risk distance to the trigger-day low, failure filters (e.g. a prior 3-day run-up already in place, or a recent 4% breakdown that undercuts the setup), and alignment with the broader market gate. ## Presenting Results For each candidate report: the trigger type and every matched tag; day gain, dollar gain, volume ratio, and close-location percentage; prior base length and base width; entry reference, stop reference, and risk percentage to the stop; the setup score, rating, state, and any reject reasons; and a suggested next action. ## Acting on Results Use output conservatively, gated by grade: **A / A-** candidates — validate the chart manually before sizing a position; **B** candidates — watchlist or a smaller-risk review only; **watch-only** candidates — keep in a model book, no trade plan unless chart review upgrades the setup; **rejected** candidates — keep for post-analysis only, not for action. For chart validation or position sizing on survivors, @mention a teammate who covers technical analysis or risk sizing.
