Syntic

Syntic for Slack

Your AI Employees, in the channels where work actually happens.

Your team lives in Slack. Your AI workforce should too. Syntic for Slack puts every AI Employee directly into your channels and DMs — mention them, slash-command them, or let them post updates when long-running tasks complete. No tab switching. No copy-pasting into a separate interface. The same AI Employees running your call center and your back office, available in Slack like any other teammate.

What it does

AI Employees that work where your team already works — no new tool to learn.

@Syntic anywhere

Mention @Syntic in any channel, DM, or thread. It reads the full thread context — not just your message, but the conversation it's part of — and replies in place. Ask it to summarise the thread, draft a response, pull relevant data, or hand the task to the right AI Employee. Everything stays in Slack. Nothing leaves the conversation.

Slash commands

  • /syntic ask ask anything, answered in context.
  • /syntic summarize summarise the current thread, channel history, or a linked document.
  • /syntic search search across your Syntic knowledge sources without leaving Slack.
  • /syntic dispatch send a task to a specific AI Employee and get the result posted back.

The commands are short and composable. The muscle memory builds fast.

Dispatch Employees

Mention a specific AI Employee by name or role and hand the task off entirely. @Maya handle this support escalation. @Devon follow up on the leads from this thread. @Kai research the company mentioned here. The Employee takes ownership, does the work, and posts the result back to the channel when it's done. You stay in Slack. The work gets done.

Two-way workflows

Syntic isn't just reactive. AI Employees post to Slack when long-running tasks complete — a research brief filed to the team channel at 6am, a collections report posted to the finance channel at end of day, a deployment summary posted to the engineering channel after a release. Configure which Employees post to which channels. Set the schedule. The updates arrive where the relevant team already is.

Channel-scoped knowledge

Pin documents, links, and knowledge sources to a channel and Syntic uses them when answering questions in that channel. The sales channel has your pricing deck and ICP framework. The support channel has your product docs and FAQ. The engineering channel has your architecture decisions and runbooks. Syntic answers with the right context for the team it's talking to — not a generic answer that works for nobody.

Admin-controlled

IT and security teams control the deployment. SCIM provisioning and SSO keep the user list in sync with your identity provider. Per-channel permissions determine which AI Employees can operate in which channels. Full audit logs on every interaction — every message, every dispatch, every action taken by an AI Employee in Slack — exportable for compliance. Available on Team plans and above.

How it works

One install, then every team can reach the workforce.

1

Install once

Add Syntic to your Slack workspace from the Slack App Directory. Authenticate with your Syntic account. Your full AI workforce — every Employee in your Cowork dashboard — is immediately available in Slack. One install, every team.

2

Mention or command

@mention @Syntic or a specific AI Employee in any channel or DM. Or use slash commands for quick actions. Either way, the response streams back into the conversation in seconds.

3

Dispatch and track

For longer tasks, dispatch to an AI Employee and track the work from Cowork or wait for the update to post back to the channel. The Employee handles the task end to end. You see the result when it's done.

4

Configure per channel

Pin knowledge sources to specific channels. Configure which Employees are available where. Set up scheduled posts for daily briefings, weekly reports, and recurring updates. All configured in Cowork and reflected instantly in Slack.

In practice

What teams use it for

Morning briefings in the right channel

Your AI Operations Manager posts the overnight brief to the leadership channel at 6am. Your AI SDR posts the pipeline update to the sales channel before standup. Your AI Support Specialist posts the ticket summary to the support channel before the team logs on. The briefing is there when people arrive — they didn't have to ask for it.

Instant research in any thread

A competitor gets mentioned in a channel. @Syntic research them and post a summary. Two minutes later the competitive brief is in the thread. The conversation continues with better information.

Support escalation handling

A customer escalation lands in the support channel. @Maya handle this — here's the thread. Maya reads the context, pulls the customer history, drafts the response, and either sends it or posts it for human approval. The escalation is handled without leaving Slack.

Cross-team task handoffs

A task needs to move from sales to legal to finance. Each handoff happens in Slack — the AI Employee in each department picks up their part, does the work, and posts the result back to the relevant channel. No project management tool required for the handoff.

Knowledge lookup for the whole team

New team member asks a question in a channel. @Syntic answers from the channel's pinned knowledge sources and your company documentation. The answer is in the thread. The senior person didn't have to stop what they were doing.

One workforce, every channel

Connected to everything in your Syntic account

Syntic for Slack isn't a standalone bot. It's a Slack-native interface to your full Syntic platform.

  • Tasks dispatched in Slack appear in Cowork with full audit trails
  • AI Employees operating in Slack have the same memory, knowledge, and authority as when they operate on other channels
  • Approvals triggered in Slack surface in Cowork for the right reviewer
  • Everything logged in Slack is part of the same compliance record as voice calls, emails, and web conversations

One AI workforce. Every channel they work in. One record of everything they've done.

Your AI workforce is already working. Put them in Slack too.

One install. Every AI Employee available in every channel. Your team keeps working in Slack — the AI workforce shows up where they already are.
