What you will accomplish

  • Edit an image by describing the change
  • Use the one-click tools
  • Keep the original and the edit side by side

Before you start

  • An image on an Art Factory canvas (generate one, or upload your own)
  1. Step 1: Select the image

On the canvas, click the image. Its toolbar appears.

  2. Step 2: Make a quick edit

Click Quick Edit (or press Tab) and type the change in Describe your edit here, for example "make the background pale blue". The edited copy appears next to the original, so nothing is lost.

  3. Step 3: Change specific elements

For targeted changes, use Edit Elements and describe what to change: objects, colours, background or style. For example "replace the sky with a sunset" or "remove the chair on the left". Again, a new copy is placed beside the original.

  4. Step 4: Use the one-click tools

The toolbar also has Remove BG, Upscale, Eraser, Expand, Variants and more, which use credits, plus free basics: Adjust, Crop, Rotate and flip.

  5. Step 5: Download the version you like

Select the version you want and click Download, or right-click and choose Export.

Tips

  • Describe the change, not the whole picture again: "warmer light" works better than rewriting the original prompt.
