# Finance Skills — Router

This is a routing guide for finance requests, pointing each one toward the right specialized approach before work begins.

## Routing Table

| Request signals | Route to |
|---|---|
| Ratio analysis, DCF valuation, budget variance, driver-based forecasts | The statement-level financial analysis approach |
| ARR/MRR, churn, CAC/LTV, NRR, quick ratio, SaaS benchmarks | The SaaS operating-metrics approach |
| Investment thesis evaluation, ROI/IRR/NPV modeling on a single capital decision | The capital-allocation/investment-advisor approach |

If a request matches more than one row (e.g., "value my SaaS company"), ask whether the user wants statement-level analysis or SaaS operating metrics before proceeding.

## Rules

- Route to exactly one approach, then follow its workflow fully rather than mixing methods mid-analysis.
- Always validate financial outputs against the user's source data — pull real numbers from what has been shared or found via knowledge_base_search rather than assuming figures.
- Treat every output as analysis support, not investment advice.
