What you will accomplish

  • Attach a document or photo to a message
  • Capture a screenshot straight into the chat
  • Know the size limits

Before you start

  • A Syntic account
  1. Step 1: Open the attach menu

Click the + button (Attach file) at the left of the message box.

  2. Step 2: Add files or photos

Choose Add files or photos and pick one or more files. Each file can be up to 25 MB; videos up to 15 MB.

  3. Step 3: Or take a screenshot

Choose Take a screenshot, then pick the screen, window or tab to capture. It's attached as an image.

  4. Step 4: Say what you want done

Type your request and send, for example "Summarise this contract in five bullet points and list the renewal dates." Syntic works from the attached files in its answer.

Tips

  • For material you'll use across many chats, add it to a project's sources instead of attaching it every time (see Organise your work in projects and folders).

Troubleshooting

"exceeds 25 MB limit"

Split or compress the file, or attach only the pages you need.
