What you will accomplish

  • Start a new app from a description
  • Watch the first version build in the preview
  • Find the code if you want it

Before you start

  • A Syntic account
  1. Step 1: Open App Builder

Go to app.syntic.ai/app-builder. The home screen asks What will you build today?

  2. Step 2: Choose what to build

Pick Full Stack App for a web app or website, or Mobile App for a phone app. (Image & Video takes you to Art Factory instead.)

  3. Step 3: Describe your app

Type what the app is for, who uses it and the main screens. For example: "A booking app for a small yoga studio: a class timetable, a booking form and a page listing my bookings."

Optional: pick a starting look from the theme menu (Default lets the AI choose), attach up to 10 reference files with the paperclip, or click + and Improve Prompt to have your description expanded.

  4. Step 4: Create the app

Click the round arrow button (Create app). App Builder names the app from your description, opens the editor and starts the first build automatically.

  5. Step 5: Check the preview

When the build finishes, try the app in Preview. Switch to Code to see the file tree and the source.

  6. Step 6: Ask for changes

Type changes in the chat panel, one or two at a time: "Add a phone number field to the booking form". Each request updates the app and the preview.

Tips

  • Small, specific requests work best. "Make the header blue and add a logo on the left" beats "make it look better".

  • Not sure what to build? Switch to Plan mode first (see Build, Chat and Plan modes).

Troubleshooting

"Could not start your app"

The build didn't start. Check your connection and click Create app again.
