What you will accomplish

  • Publish your app at a syntic.app address
  • Publish later changes
  • Unpublish when you need to

Before you start

  • An app in App Builder
  1. Step 1: Open the Publish panel

In the editor, click Publish at the top right. The panel shows whether the app is Not published yet, Up to date, or has changes since it was last published.

  2. Step 2: Choose the address

Click the pencil on the address row and type a URL subdomain. Your app will live at your-name.syntic.app.

  3. Step 3: Check who can see it

The audience row should read Visible to anyone with the link (Public). Workspace-only and invite-only sharing aren't available yet.

  4. Step 4: Review the security check

App Builder runs a quick security scan before publishing. If it reports issues, open Security to see them; some workspaces block publishing while critical issues remain.

  5. Step 5: Publish

Click Publish. When it finishes, the status shows Live and your address works for anyone with the link.

  6. Step 6: Publish updates

After you change the app, the status shows Unpublished changes. Open the panel and click Publish changes to update the live site.

Tips

  • Want your own domain? Use Add custom domain in the Publish panel.

Troubleshooting

How do I take my app offline?

In the Publish panel's menu, choose Unpublish and then Confirm unpublish. The address stops working, and any custom domains need to be verified again when you republish.

I changed the address and the old link stopped working

That's expected: saving a new subdomain publishes the app at the new address and the old one stops working. Share the new link.
