What you will accomplish

  • Start a chat and get an answer
  • Follow up in the same conversation
  • Find any past chat again

Before you start

  • A Syntic account (see Create your Syntic account)
  1. Step 1: Open Chat

Sign in at app.syntic.ai. You arrive in Chat. A new chat shows a message box that says Ask anything.

  2. Step 2: Ask your question

Type what you need and press Enter to send. Press Shift + Enter for a new line without sending.

Be specific: say what the answer is for and what it should look like, for example "Write a three-line welcome message for new customers of a bakery, friendly but short."

  3. Step 3: Follow up

Keep typing in the same box (it now says Write a message..). Syntic remembers the conversation, so you can say "shorter" or "now in Spanish" without repeating yourself.

If an answer is going the wrong way, click Stop generating and rephrase.

  4. Step 4: Start a new chat

Use New chat in the sidebar when you change topic. Separate chats keep answers focused.

  5. Step 5: Find past chats

Your recent chats are listed in the sidebar. Click All chats below the list to open the Chats page, where you can search (Search chats…), switch between card and list views, archive chats and restore deleted ones from the Bin.

Tips

  • Pin the chats you return to often; pinned chats get their own section in the sidebar.

  • Syntic can make mistakes. Check important facts, figures and links before you rely on them.

Troubleshooting

I deleted a chat by mistake

Open All chats, switch to the Bin and click Restore on the chat.

My message is cut off

A single message can be up to 100,000 characters. For longer material, attach it as a file instead.
